WELCOME!

Holy Rosary Families, I hope the school year is off to a great start and you are relishing in the beauty of making all things new! My name is Megan Choitz (Ms. Megan), I’m the new school counselor at Holy Rosary. I will be helping the students with social-emotional lessons, group work, and one-on-one meetings.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been working in hospital and school settings for the past 15 years.  I am very excited to join the Holy Rosary community and have delighted in the warm welcome I have received.  Catholic school has been formative in my education as I attended Catholic School from 6th grade through college.  It has been a joy to see all the students playing at recess and navigating unstructured time.

As a parent of two school aged children, I know the challenges of balancing all the things, especially during this COVID ambiguity.  I am excited to continue to support students as we navigate what school looks like now and how that impacts friendships, peer relationships, problem solving and learning.  Children have such resilience and I have learned so much in observing them overcome challenges.  I look forward to collaborating with you!
